Nature
As you can see our theme of our weebly is nature. We decided to use nature because nature is commonly used in poetry and it’s really beautiful. Also because we all enjoy nature, from being outside on a nice spring afternoon or to laying on the grass under the stars. Nature for all of us is a big part in our lives not only because it makes up our beautiful earth. It is important to us because nature is what makes up where we play and live life. Being the reasons we thought that nature would suet us quite easily. In addition we chose nature as our group theme because nature is everywhere you look, and appreciating once in a while with a wonderful poem would not hurt us but make us realize it even more.
"Good" Poem
For RKY, the criteria for a well written poem includes the poem should be able to give the reader a glimpses of a more illumining reality. As in to take them out of their own reality and make them believe they were the one in that situation. To show a bit of imagery by giving well enough details. Also a good poem must give a meaning, value, or worth to a person, place, or thing. The poem should focus on something everyone could relate to in their lives. Lastly a good poem should include well written figurative language. The poem must have well sensory impressions that take your breath away.
