-I think the poem is about the author coming across the garden of eden and then he's describing the blooming of the flowers and trees. He takes it as spring/ summer where everything is bloomed. 
-On the first stanza in the 1st line it describes the flowers in the garden that are blooming and that they fill the air, they describe it in a meadow.
-" Flowers with the sweetest odors fill sunny air"
-'There on thick and shadowy trees, amid the foliage green.
